This is what I've been doing today at work.
I don't know how fucking good it'll look, 'cause when I finally was done I noticed that depending on how I tilt the screen the "fake"-look varies. Dammit.
Anyway. Turned out to be a lot of people wanting to do things here on Saturdays, so it took like forever to do it.

I think this is a beautiful picture. The only thing I'd at all recommend fixing (assuming that's possible) is the one flaw I see that does make it look fake, and that's the fact that there's not a circular darkness to the whole planet.
It's still a beautiful picture, but the fact that you can see stars on the other side and there's no silhouette instead for the darker sections of planet, that's the only thing - to me - that gives it away as an artist's rendering. Like I said, though. It's still a gorgeous image.
